Did you ever think about the area around you, did you ever notice what beauty we have been walking past. We are all in such a hurry to get somewhere, traveling away from home when you manage to get some free time.
This morning I woke up to the sound of the birds twittering away, I looked out of the window and the sun was shining and my garden looked lovely. I smiled and gave a deep sigh; this is what I was looking forward to. Sunny days with not a care in the world, I got kind of dreamy and decided that today I would have a stroll in the local park with my Husband. The gardens in the park are beautiful I never realised how lovely it was, I passed it every day on my way to and from work and never even thought of going inside. We found a tea room and sat on the terrace having tea and toast and watching the world go by. We chatted away and laughed at anything and everything it was really good and then we strolled around the park taking in the scenery, now that is what I call a really good day.
It's our wedding anniversary tomorrow we have been married 41 years and we still laugh at each others jokes, well we do see the funny side of a lot of things and enjoy each others company. We will be off on our travels again tomorrow and then on Tuesday it is back to work for me. Two more weeks and four days to go before retirement and then no need to set my alarm clock or wait to go where ever we want to.
